For folks 50 years old and up, XYZ provides fun social activities, educational engagement, spiritual growth, trips, retreats, concerts, and opportunities for service. Both members of FUMC and the wider community are welcome to participate.

Please plan to join XYZ on the second Thursday of each month from September through June for a luncheon program. We begin gathering at 11:15 a.m. and setting up to start serving at 12:00 noon with tasty food, served potluck style, friendly fellowship and a healthy dose of fun. Bring your favorite gastronomic delight to share. Everything else is furnished. You are encouraged to bring your favorite 50+ friend, too!!  the featured program starts at 12:30pm.

Memory Cafe

A Memory Cafe is a social gathering for those who are experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss, or mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and for their families, friends, or care partners.  First United Methodist Church has partnered with the Aging and Disability Resource Center, the Waukesha Public Library and the Alzheimer's Association to offer a monthly Waukesha Memory Cafe.  It is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 10:30 am -12:00 pm.  2021 meetings will be held at the community room at the Waukesha Parks & Recreation Building on Aviation Drive in Waukesha.  In 2022, we will move to the Community Room at the Waukesha Public Library.  Please register in advance at www.waukeshapubliclibrary.org or by calling 262-524-3680.
